My Hope for You
The prayers that others made on my behalf to God and my own prayers to Him brought me to Christ. Today I wouldn't go more than a few hours without prayer and really understand how important it is to follow the scripture in II Thessalonians 5:17 and "pray without ceasing".
After I started praying in earnest and surrendered to the will of God, the Lord put on my heart many quotations, illustrations, metaphors and analogies that may help others come to Christ and perhaps help other Christians in their walk with the Lord. Out of obedience and love for God, I have created Prayer Resource Ministries and this website for all who may benefit from our efforts to glorify God. I am not trained as a pastor or a minister, but that doesn't let me off the hook or you, for that matter, in expanding the Kingdom of God.
My hope is that you find the illustrations on this website helpful and encouraging in your walk with the Lord. I also hope that you will seek the Lord in prayer everyday and surrender to His will in your life. When I surrendered to His will and became obedient to his desires for me, everything changed. As the father relates in the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:24, "for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found".
I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that all lost souls will be found and saved.
